Tom, Dick & Harry's @ TTDI

A little place in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail just got a little better. It's newest hang out place is Tom, Dick & Harry's or "TDH" has a nice ring to the name. The crowd was pretty good considering it opened earlier in the month and by 8pm it was quite pack. Again, we like their enforcement of the "parking" system whereby you can order drinks during happy hour for the rest of the night.

Happy hour @ TDH is from 4 - 8 pm. They serve draught Carlsberg, Connor's Stout, Hoegaarden, Tetley's and Blackthorn Cider. However they didn't have Tetley's the day we were there. Patrons can have a good celebration by the barrel of Hoegaarden @ rm1000 which serves 30-40 glasses of beer. A tip to make a reservation for the barrel because there's only 1 tap at the moment.

The selection of bottled beer is quite good and single malt Macallan is always nice for the sophisticated taste-buds. They serve pretty good spaghetti carbonara and sausages. But the pork burger was a disappointment as there was an extremely strong pork smell. Hopefully they will change their pork supplier asap.

The ambience is cozy with a modern and rustic feel. The bench type tables are surprisingly quite comfortable. You can easily chitchat with friends as you sit quite close together like in the old school days.

Drinkers Verdict
  • Likman - Hoegaarden to start off the night is good. I love Connor's to Guinness coz I don't like the strong stout taste. Rating: 4.5 / 5
  • Ah Koon - Carlsberg is not bad and not watered down. I prefer Guinness to Connor's as the "tingling sensation" doesn't suit my tongue. Rating: 4 / 5
  • CC - Hoegaarden was full of taste (you can definitely taste the "flowery taste"). The cider was not too bad though not a strong alcoholic drink. Rating: 4.5 / 5

Overall Rating: 4.3 / 5

  1. Parking system is good but then they do tend to rush you for your next drink when you finished. Personally, I do not like to be RUSH!
Food is commendable I have to say.
